“Trump Claims Credit for Resolving India-Pakistan Conflict in Record Time”
US President Donald Trump has once again taken credit for preventing a war between India and Pakistan, a claim that has been consistently rejected by India.

In his latest remarks, Trump stated, “I’ve settled eight major wars, some of which had been ongoing for 36, 32, 31, 28, and 25 years.” He further emphasized, “Some of these conflicts were on the verge of erupting, like the one between India and Pakistan, where eight jets were shot down, and I managed to resolve it quickly without the use of nuclear weapons.”
Trump continued, “I believe I’m the most deserving of the Nobel Prize, not that I’m seeking to brag. The fact is, nobody else has been able to stop wars like I have. You should receive the Nobel Prize for every war you’ve prevented.” He highlighted the significance of his actions, saying, “These were major conflicts that nobody thought could be stopped… My primary concern is saving lives, and I’ve managed to save tens of millions of lives.”
The US President also referenced a statement made by the Prime Minister of Pakistan, who reportedly said that Trump’s intervention saved a minimum of ten million lives in the conflict between Pakistan and India, which was on the brink of escalating into an all-out war.
However, India has maintained that the ceasefire understanding was reached directly between New Delhi and Islamabad after India launched Operation Sindoor against terror bases in Pakistan, and has consistently rejected claims of third-party mediation.
The operation was a response to the April 2025 Pahalgam terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir, which resulted in the loss of 26 lives.

Trump’s remarks on Iran protests
Trump also addressed the situation in Iran, warning of potential US intervention if the violence escalates.
“Iran is in big trouble,” Trump stated. “People are taking control of certain cities that nobody thought were possible… We’re closely monitoring the situation… If the government starts killing people like they have in the past, we’ll get involved. We’ll be hitting them hard where it hurts… There have been instances where President Obama completely backed down… Iran has treated its people poorly, and now they’re facing the consequences… We’re watching the situation closely…”
